How can we identify the Goals? Objectives can be general or specific. It is ambitious, but not beyond possibility.
Difference between research questions aims and objectives
Research question is the central question of the study that has to be answered on the basis of research findings. How should your objectives be stated? Achievement of research aim provides answer to the research question. Every educational activity should have a goal. Are those behaviours cognitive, affective or psychomotor? For example, if the problem identified is low utilisation of antenatal care services, the general objective of the study could be to identify the reasons for this low uptake, in order to find ways of improving it. These are usually formatted as a numbered list to make it easy to see the main steps of the project. This is where you make the project tangible by saying how you are going to go about it. Objectives have to be practical, do-able and achievable. Case Study
To identify barriers and concerns related to VCT and its uptake. Be exposed to a new way of organizing paperwork. What probability cannot tell us is the certainty of the second flip. These are statements that have a purpose and outcome in mind. Moreover, research aim specifies WHAT needs to be studied and research objectives comprise a number of steps that address HOW research aim will be achieved.
Objectives for the above aim might be: To apply increasing load to a piece of bungee cord and measure the deflection. Avoid the use of vague non-active verbs such as: to appreciate, to understand, to believe, to study, etc.
